If the pointer of the ammeter swings beyond the rated current, stop immediately, find out the reason (the temperature of the barrel may be low), and start the car after the problem is solved. If the production is temporarily stopped, for extruded polyolefin raw materials, do not clean the raw materials in the extruder. For extruded PVC raw materials, the raw materials in the screw and barrel must be cleaned. When cleaning, some materials that are not easy to decompose can be added to push out all the PVC residue. Then remove the screw rod, clean and apply anti-rust oil, wrap it and hang it vertically. Use copper knives and tools when cleaning the screw and barrel. It is not allowed to scrape sticky material with hard knife to avoid scratching screw barrel.

 

The second half of the air-cooled elastomer pelletizer barrel is overheated or overcooled: at the rear of the feed section, the material forms a thin layer of molten polymer during heating and shrinking. The molten film layer is attached to the barrel. Without this thin layer, the pellets would be difficult to carry forward. It is necessary to heat the material in the feeding section to a critical temperature before the critical molten film layer occurs. Often, however, the residence time of the material in the barrel is too short for the polymer to reach this temperature. The occurrence of this situation may be due to the small size of the equipment, the corresponding equipment smaller barrel and screw formed. The residence time is too short to form a polymer melt or insufficient mixing, which will cause the screw to slip or stop.
